Islamabad: Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Saeed Al-Malkiy has said that bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are bolstering with each passing day.
Both the brotherly Islamic countries are tied in relations of faith and mutual trust and any force cannot create mistrust between them,” said that Saudi ambassador while talking to Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) Chairman Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi on Friday.
He added that Saudi Arabia was looking forward positively to become part of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Pakistani pilgrims and devotees visiting Saudi Arabia for Umrah and Hajj were very dear to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, said Al-Malkiy, adding that the Saudi Embassy in Pakistan was working diligently and efficiently to facilitate Pakistani pilgrims in every manner.
“The Saudi Embassy in Pakistan, while taking prompt notice on complaints pertaining to difficulties being faced by Pakistani pilgrims owing to finger-prints verification procedure, had postponed the practice with the sole objective to facilitate the pilgrims,” he said.
“Leadership of Saudi Arabia and consulate staff of Saudi embassies remain vigilant and steadfast to help out pilgrims visiting Saudi Arabia for Hajj and Umrah,” said Nawaf Saeed.
Ashrafi while thanking the Saudi ambassador said that prompt action on part of Saudi Embassy in Pakistan on problems being faced by Pakistani pilgrims regarding biometric verification procedure was very laudable, which hinted at the fact that Saudi leadership was keen to facilitate Pakistani pilgrims.
He said that security and defence of Saudi Arabia was very dear to every Muslim of the world. Ashrafi also lauded undertakings taken by Saudi King Shah Salman bin Abdul Aziz to purge the state of corruption for the welfare and prosperity of their homeland. He appreciated Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Ameer Muhammad bin Salman for spreading moderate message of Islam all over the world.
